HR Business Partner

📍 Riga, Latvia | On-site

Our team in Riga is looking for an HR Business Partner to help shape our people strategy and support the continued growth of PlantRogueRoot. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you'll ensure that our people, performance, and organizational structure align with company goals. You'll partner closely with managers, improve HR processes, and foster a high-performing culture where teams can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Partner with department leaders to understand business goals, team challenges, and organizational needs.
  • Translate business priorities into effective HR strategies and practical solutions.
  • Act as a culture ambassador by supporting employee engagement initiatives and monitoring team wellbeing.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Support managers in setting objectives, delivering feedback, and managing performance.
  • Identify high-potential employees and contribute to succession planning.
  • Promote fair, transparent, and consistent people practices across the organization.

Organizational Design & Growth

  • Help define roles, responsibilities, and team structures.
  • Advise leaders on organizational growth and scaling strategies.

Leadership Coaching

  • Coach managers on people leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities across the business.

Employee Relations & Change Management

  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including performance issues, workplace conflicts, and employee exits.
  • Support the successful implementation of organizational changes and new HR initiatives.

Requirements

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles such as Senior HR Specialist, HR Business Partner, or a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
  • Experience partnering with managers on people-related decisions.
  • Proven experience supporting business leaders beyond operational HR or recruitment.
  • Ability to lead HR initiatives and improve people processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting rapidly growing companies or scaling teams.
  • Experience working with Engineering or Product teams.
